Virginia is ground zero in this political war. Parents holding school boards accountable there were labeled terrorists, spied on, and investigated. Parents fighting against boys being allowed to be in girls locker rooms that led to multiple rapes were even arrested and prosecuted there. Now Attorney General candidate Jay Jones is exposed for saying he wants to see his opponent family, including his two small children murdered as part of the political process, and he hasn’t even been called on to drop out of the race by senior Democrat elected officials. I believe the root of all of this lunacy is our government run public school systems and that is why I have long advocated for funding students, not systems, and why I am engaging right here in Mississippi to help further that cause and provide more education freedom for our parents and students here. My guest today is the leader of our movement, especially among us parents, to get this mission accomplished nationally. I am pleased to have Dr. Corey A. DeAngelis as my guest today. Corey DeAngelis is a senior fellow at the American Culture Project and a visiting fellow at the American Institute for Economic Research. He has been labeled the “school choice evangelist” and called “the most effective school choice advocate since Milton Friedman.” He is a regular on Fox News and frequently appears in The Wall Street Journal. DeAngelis is also the executive director at Educational Freedom Institute, a senior fellow at Reason Foundation, an adjunct scholar at Cato Institute, and a board member at Liberty Justice Center. He holds a Ph.D. in education policy from the University of Arkansas. He is the author of The Parent Revolution: Rescuing Your Kids from the Radicals Ruining Our Schools.
